Can someone please explain to me

...just how in the hell the Histats.com info on my site can reveal only TWO visitors within the last 60 days (1 each on Dec.6 & 7), yet there have been comments posted within the last few days, and I know for a fact that people have visited the blog at other times during that 60 day period?!?  I know this is a little pissant low-traffic blog, and I'm okay with that (or I would have opened it up to search engines), but it's an unnecessary blow to my ego to be told there's NO traffic when I know there has been.

And can anyone PLEASE recommend a hit counter that's more reliable?
