1) to have verifiably read the Constitution and all of the Amendments to it;
2) demonstrate they UNDERSTOOD what they read;
3) to be able to quote from memory at least the first 10 Amendments, aka the Bill of Rights;
4) to be able to name the remaining Amendments by number and give a brief description of each.
It's not an impossible task by any means; I recall having to do just that in social sciences class back when I was in high school.
Then we wouldn't have situations like this:
Seriously? How the hell is she supposed to support and defend the Constitution if she has no idea what it says?
