Well, last night I ran across a series of posts that she calls "The Mommy Dearest Files". You can find Part One here. I have to warn you, though: This is not warm-fuzzy feel-good writing. There's nothing humorous about it. If you have issues from childhood abuse, or are already depressed, you may not want to go there. It's very powerful -- and well worth reading.
On a lighter note, I can happily recommend several of her posts to get you started if you're looking for humor: "Attention Seeking Fur Missile", for cat people; "Here They Come Again" for those of us who get fed up with Christmas cards . . . and other things; "Therapy-erapy-erapy" for us moms; and "Is that normal?" for anyone who's ever been sick and had a chipmunk-- Oh, never mind. Just go read, and you'll understand!

Thanks so much for the shout-out! That is really sweet :o)
Of course, I must throw in my usual disclaimer that "I am not responsible for any psychological scarring resulting from visiting my blog. Or the exposure to profanity."
And what's so wrong with good ol' Anglo-Saxon monosyllables?!? So far you haven't taught me any new ones, hon!
Thanks for coming by!
